Site Memory: The Sculpture Garden

The lot on which the Veterans of Foreign Wars building once stood is transformed into a sculpture garden by Australian landscape architect James Brazil.

The life size sculptures tucked in the maze of larges printed book covers by African Americans writers banned by the state of Florida titled Required Readings in a luxurious vegetation provide a “topoi” construction— place and topic — where memories converge.
